Zarif leaves Uganda for Niger

TEHRAN, Oct. 26 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, has left Uganda on Thu. for the West African country Niger.

As the third and final leg of his African tour, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his entourage will hold talks with high-ranking political authorities in Niger.

Exchanging views on ways to expand bilateral relations, as well as conferring on recent regional and international developments are the topics of discussion that Zarif will raise during his meetings with Nigerien officials.

Zarif’s visit to Niger comes on the heels of his Wed. stop at Uganda where he held talks with the country’s president and foreign minister, and took part in the two countries’ business forum. Zarif also inaugurated an Iranian hospital in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, this morning.
